Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Ogunleye, better known as Simi, and her singer husband, Adekunle Gold, have welcomed their first child on Sunday.
Simi and Adekunle had recently revealed that they were expecting a baby after which Simi released the song ‘Duduke’ in anticipation of the baby.
The duo announced the arrival of their baby girl named ‘Adejare’ on Instagram on Sunday.
Simi released ‘Duduke’ on April 19, 2020, in which she describes how she feels about becoming a mother.
The song, which came with a video, became an instant hit and had since garnered over 5 million views on YouTube.
