Sharon Osbourne may be due to head back to the U.K.’s “X Factor” for the upcoming live shows, but that didn’t stop her launching an attack on Simon Cowell and the series during her SiriusXM interview Tuesday.
Osbourne, 65, suggested she’d been planning to ask for more money as she chatted to Howard Stern, 64. She told the host: “I have a clause in my contract: ‘favourite nations’. So Simon goes to the press and goes, ‘This is the best 10 million I have ever spent.’
She added of the £10 million that Cowell reportedly spent on new judges Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field: “I’m like, ‘OK, I have favourite nations: where’s my f**king 10 million?’”
Stern then asked, according to The Guardian, “The clause is that you should make as much as anyone else?” to which Osbourne replied, “That’s right. I’m waiting to hear… you want me, you have to pay what I’m worth.”
Osbourne went on to say of not taking part in the auditions process of the show, which kicked off with new judge Louis Tomlinson as well Saturday: “I don’t have to have those kids singing in my face. They all suck, and it’s like: is this karaoke or what? It’s the end of my contract now. It’s no holds barred. It’s like: get the f**k off the stage, you’re s**t.”
Not ending the comments there, Osbourne even went on another rant about Cowell, whom she said, “loves to be on TV… he’ll do whatever he has to do to get that f**king fat face on TV.”
She continued, “I like Simon, he’s been very good to me, but he’s a f**king pain in the a**e.”
Stern jokingly asked who Osbourne would throw off board out of the three of them, to which she said: “We’d put a brick round his neck and throw him over. I’ll drown you, motherf**ker.”
