Cocaine was a substance that ravaged Pitbull’s family life.
The “Timber” rapper opens up about his rough upbringing in an exclusive sit down with Fox’s “OBJECTified”.
“I grew up around cocaine, crack, heroin,” says Pitbull in a new clip from Sunday night’s episode. “I saw people who had nothing give everything to a product.”
His mom and dad not only sold drugs, but they broke a fundamental rule and used their own product: “They both used, and when I was born I was breastfed cocaine.”
Pitbull, now 37, is among the most successful modern rappers, with a Grammy to his name, an official FIFA World Cup theme song and multiple number one singles.
Fox’s “OBJECTified” interview with Pitbull airs at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday.
