Nigeria has continued to record rapid increase of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, with 386 new infections confirmed in the country on Friday.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Friday night that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country had risen to 3,912.
The NCDC said a total of 679 cases had been discharged while 117 deaths were reported in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
Kogi and Cross River are still yet to record any case.
The Director-general of the NCDC, Chikwe Ihekweazu, had said the increase in figures is a reflection of the increased testing capacity in the laboratories across the country, but expressed concern about the situation in Kogi and Cross River.
