Meet Beautiful Lady, Doreen Moracha Who Has Been Living With HIV For 28 Years

A Kenyan lady, Doreen Moracha has taken to Facebook to revealed that she has been living with the deadly virus – HIV for 28 years now.

Kenyan communication executive, Doreen Moracha has shared a brief insight on her experience of living with HIV for 28 years.

In a birthday post she shared, Doreen who disclosed that she has been living with the disease since was born, said she was officially diagnosed with the disease on her 8th birthday and has been on ARVs since 2005.

Below is what she wrote;

“Living with HIV since 1992(the year I was born)

Been on ARVs since 2005

Tested and officially Diagnosed on my 8th birthday 20 years ago.

I AM GREATER THAN HIV

I AM A BEAUTIFUL STORY.”

In another post, she wrote;

“I am not HIV,I am living with HIV

I am not the virus,I’m just hosting the virus

I don’t let my HIV status define me,I define it

I AM A BEAUTIFUL STORY

I AM GREATER THAN HIV

And one day I want someone to look at me and say “Because of you,I did not give up”
