A statement on Tuesday said the deputy governor, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, Mrs Yetunde Odejayi, promised to work better and “render selfless service to the society.”

“This award will further help me to do more as I promise my commitment to the vision of good governance as represented by my boss, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode,” she said.

Adebule commended ALGON and its partner, Absolute Security and Consultancy Services Limited, for their efforts at promoting good governance.

The National President of ALGON, Tanko Kagara, said the Lagos deputy governor’s humility, good conduct and passion for excellence made her fit for the award.

He said, “It is our hope that this award will motivate other people in positions of authority in the country to work harder in bringing development to people at the grass roots.”
