Jay Z Wants Travis Scott Remove From Super Bowl Gig
American media house, HNHH has it that Jay Z reportedly wants Travis Scott to back out of the Super Bowl gig.
A few weeks ago, there were reports that Maroon 5 was having trouble finding guests for their Super Bowl halftime show performance, but on Thursday TMZ reported that Travis will be joining M5 after putting ink on paper. However, this decision didn’t settle well with many of his fans who accused him of selling out and not standing with Kaepernick. However, it looks like Scott’s decision to perform at the Super Bowl is also not sitting well with Jay-Z.
Jay-Z is not feeling Scott’s decision to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl with Maroon 5. According to Variety, Jay has been trying to convince Travis Scott to step down from performing at the Super Bowl. Jay Z has been one of the public figures who have been extremely vocal in their support for Colin Kaepernick and their criticism towards the NFL. It’s unsure what Scott will decide, but clearly, there’s a lot of pressure on him right now.
Jay-Z isn’t the only person who had something to say about Scott’s Super Bowl performance. Meek Mill also spoke out against Scott’s decision to perform at the annual event. Meek Mill said that Scott doesn’t need the Super Bowl at all and that he should, “Stay strong in this shit!” Meek also clarified that he doesn’t have any issues with Travis Scott in any way.
Aside from Travis Scott, TMZ also reported that Cardi B and Big Boi will also be performing with Maroon 5 this year.
It was reported that Big Boi might just be the perfect artist from Atlanta who will be making the cut this year due to fans demand of a home art. Rest assured on an update soon.
