Four Escaped Death As Drunk UNICAL Lecturer Crash Into A Tricycle In Calabar (Photos)

On Sunday there were cries after a lecturer crash into a tricycle (keke Napep) due to wrong driving, Brainnews report.

At about 8pm on Sunday, February 24, Mr. David (other names withheld), a University Of Calabar (UNICAL) lecturer crashed into a tricycle after he failed to control his Nissan Pathfinder due to his drunkenness. Mr David happen to lecture in Theater arts department in University of Calabar, Calabar.

The incident toke place at Goldie by Amika Utuk Street, Calabar, the Cross River state capital. The said lecturer was heading home when the ghastly accident happened.

According to eyewitness, Mr. David was highly drunk and was on speed. In the process he crashed into a moving tricycle with four passengers in it. Three of the passengers were seriously injured including the tricycle driver.

The lecturer was unhurt including his three passengers.

As at the time of this report, the injured persons are responding to treatment at the University of Calabar teaching hospital.
