The corpse of the late Deputy National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (South) was brought to Ibadan on Sunday morning ahead of the burial.

He was buried according to Islamic rites and the burial was witnessed by about 20 relatives and family members including his wife Florence.

The place of burial preferred by the family of the late politician was at his residence at the Agodi GRA, Ibadan, but was not approved by the state government due to a litigation on the house.

There have been controversy on the place to bury him and security men were said to have been deployed at the preferred location by the family, apparently to prevent this.
