Eminem, after the Marshall Mathers LP2 album in 2013 was silent for the next four years with rumors stating that the rap god is no longer into hippop. Fans started demanding a new album from him, saying he
has stayed too long without an album.

Slim Shady responded in 2017 promising fans a release in November which he did. But unfortunately, tracks in The album wasn’t the kind’ fans were waiting for, as the album was filled with Em’s political views and stand.

In August, Eminem announced the release of a new Album titled “Kamikaze” which was termed a ‘surprise album’, because there was no notification of the album coming before hand.

The Album which has 13 tracks plus one bonus track stood to be what the fans have been surging for, as it was a response to Em’s critiques and dissers.

Eminem with his already known dissing skills came in with tracks such as “Kill shot” done personally for MGK and other tracks which trailed the style of rap used by modern Hippop stars, whom according to him just “mumbles”, saying they use soundcloud, wear big chains and costly clothes, go to the studio and mumble words with no lyrical structure or rhymes.

One of the tracks in the “Kamikaze” album titled “Lucky you”, featuring Joyner Lucas has been nominated for the 61st Grammys Award 2019 in the ‘Best Rap Song’ category, alongside Drake’s “God’s Plan”, Kendrick Lamar’s “King’s Dead”, Jay Rock’s “Win” and “Sicko Mode” featuring Travis Scott, Drake, Big Hawk and Swae Lee.
