[Video] Edo Governor, Obaseki Announces Defection To PDP
Following his unending problems with APC, Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State has officially defected to the PDP.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has officially announced his defection to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Obaseki’s defection to the PDP came after the All Progressives Congress (APC) disqualified him from contesting in its governorship primary election.
“I have officially joined the @OfficialPDPNig to advance my ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.
“I, as always, remain committed to engendering good governance and sustainable development of our dear state,” the governor tweeted on Friday.
The PDP also confirmed the development by tweeting a video of Obaseki’s announcement of his defection to its fold.
Our reported revealed that the Edo Governor had picked up a PDP membership card last week ahead of the official announcement of his defection to the PDP.
I have officially joined the @OfficialPDPNig to advance my ambition to seek re-election as Governor of Edo State.
I, as always, remain committed to engendering good governance and sustainable development of our dear state.
