Coronavirus: 23 New Cases Confirmed In Lagos, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna And Abuja

Nigeria has recorded 23 (twenty three) new cases of coronavirus bringing the total number of infections to 174.

23 New Cases Confirmed In Lagos, Bauchi, Akwa Ibom, Kaduna And Abuja

With the new figures released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), a total of 174 cases has been confirmed in Nigeria. 2 deaths have been recorded so far and 9 patients have been discharged after recovering from the disease.

Here is a breakdown of Coronavirus cases in some Nigerian states as at 8pm on April 1; Lagos- 91 FCT- 35 Osun- 14 Oyo- 8 Ogun- 4 Edo- 4 Kaduna- 4 Bauchi- 3 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-1 Benue- 1 Akwa Ibom- 5.

The NCDC made this known via its Twitter handle. It twitted;

“Twenty three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria – Nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.

“As of 08:00 pm on 1st of April, there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths.”
