Burna Boy Wins Best International Act At 2020 BET Awards
Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has won the Best International Act category at the 2020 BET Awards.

International model Naomi Campbell has announced Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy as the winner of the Best International Act award at the just concluded 2020 BET Awards.
Burna Boy was nominated alongside Sho Madjozi (South Africa), Stormzy (UK), Innoss ‘B (DR Congo), Ninho (France) and S.Pri Noir (France) in the international acts category.
The Grammy nominated star and Rema were the only Nigerians who were nominated in the awards.
Rema however lost his category’s Viewer’s Choice: Best International Act, to Zimbabwe’s Sha Sha.
The win marks the second consecutive time Burna Boy would take home the gong after doing so in 2019.
At the awards, Wizkid also won the BET Her Award for Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’ alongside Saint jHN and Blue Ivy Carter.
