Biker’s Carnival: Cross River Governor, Ayade Splashes 600k On Street Dancers
A whooping six hundred thousand Naira (N600,000) has been Splashed on street Dancers during the Carnival Calabar 2018 Biker’s Parade by the governor of Cross River State, Sen. Ben Ayade, Brainnews report.
The governor dished out the money on Thursday after a competition was drawn by the MCs of the event, Koboko and Dr. Groove at the Governor’s Stand at Marian, Calabar, where the Bikers were thrilling the humongous crowd.
Mr Ayade who was impressed by the young talented ladies spectacular performances has no choice to dip his hands into his big pocket and pronounce the amount of N0.6million for the last three of the contest.
The trio, after being presented to the Governor where made to cart home, N300,000 for the winner, N200,000 for the 1st runner’s up and N100,000 for the 2nd runner’s up.
Presenting the prizes, the governor, Ayade said, “For your wonderful performances, I am giving three hundred thousand Naira to the winner of the contest. I am also giving out two hundred thousand Naira to the person that came second and one hundred thousand Naira to the person that came third.”
The winner of the roadshow contest was given a DSTV decoder while the second and third position were given consolation prizes of T-shirts and writing pens.
