Attack In Downtown Melbourne, Australia As One Person Killed, Two Others Injured

Report reaching Brainnewsradio has it that two persons were injured and one killed in a knife attack in downtown Melbourne on Friday, and Australian police are treating the case as an act of terror.
According to David Clayton, a Police Superintendent from Victoria telling reporters, “Three people have been stabbed. Unfortunately, one of them is deceased at the scene.”
The Suspect is said to have been shot by a Policeman and sent to the hospital.

Victoria Police Chief Commissioner, Graham Ashton told reporters at a presser that the Suspect was originally from Somalia and was known to intelligence authorities, adding that the car of the Suspect was packed with gas bottles.
According to a tweet on CGTN Twitter page, Police have locked down the area in the center of Melbourne’s business district where several people were attacked and a car was set on fire during rush hour on
Friday.
