The Association of Corporate Governance Professionals, Nigeria, has announced the induction of fellows, members, associates and graduate members at Uyo Akwa Ibom State.

“The qualifying lecture/workshop was delivered by Mr. Olufemi Mosaku-Johnson, on governance and organisation structure for sustainable development,” a the body said in a statement on Thursday.
It quoted the President and Chairman of the Council, Sam Ohuabunwa, as saying that there was a need for people to realise that without corporate governance in place, minimum development could not be expected in the country.
He said with the institution of corporate governance at home, Nigerians could hold their own anywhere.
“Since inception, ACGPN has worked alongside government, regulators, law enforcement and international bodies, and supported its members in every way possible. We will continue this work and provide support to facilitate national and international cooperation and to improve monitoring and enforcement systems,” the ACGPN added.
