Accountant General Office’s Fire: Davido Tells FG To Return Father’s Donation

Nigerian singer, Davido has asked the federal government to refund his father’s donation towards the fight against coronavirus in the country following the fire at the accountant general office in Abuja.

David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido, has asked the federal government to return the sum of N500 million donated by his father Deji Adeleke to fight Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.

The singer made the statement on his Twitter page on Wednesday.

Recall that few days ago the father of the famous singer made a pledge of N500 million to the Nigerian government to help fight Covid-19 in the state.

He also donated N250 million worth of rice to the people Osun State, where he hails from.

Following the fire outbreak at the accountant general office, Davido has requested that his father’s money be refunded.
