The nation’s capital, Abuja in the last 24 hours have recorded 75 new coronavirus cases.

A total of seventy-five, 75, new cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded in the FCT, Abuja in the last 24hours.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, announced the figure on Sunday morning in a tweet via its official Twitter handle.

FCTA said the nation’s capital has now recorded 46 COVID-19 deaths so far.

“Summary of #COVID19FCT as at August 8th, 2020.

“Total number of confirmed cases: 4378.

“Total number of active cases: 3264.

“Total discharged: 1066.

“Deaths recorded: 46.

“Residents are urged to #TakeResponsibility to #StaySafe,” It tweeted.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, according to NCDC, is 41, 160.
