2019: Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District Stake Holders Assures Sen Akpabio Of Victory

By Wisdom Peter,
According to report from The Explorer, Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District have reiterated that Sen. Godswill Akpabio’s reelection is sure.
The different stake holders of the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District who spoke on behalf of their various Federal Constituencies that make up the District during the solemn assembly to flag off Sen Godswill Akpabio’s Senatorial Election/Inauguration of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District APC Campaign Council, all had an agreed conclusion that Sen Akpabio’s reelection remains non-negotiable.
Rt. Hon. Ini Udoka who spoke on behalf of Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency said, “the people of Ikono/Ini are ready to support Akpabio wholeheartedly”.
The former Federal lawmaker said the Constituency would deliver nothing less than 70% of votes in the area to return Akpabio whom he predicted would become the third high ranking Nigerian (Senate President) upon returning to the floor of the senate for a second term.
Speaking on behalf of Oruk Anam/Ukanafun Federal Constituency, according to The Explorer, Hon Okokon Etiebet who representing Atuekong Don Etiebet said Akpabio’s victory was done and dusted, and that the senatorial District has never had it so good, in terms of attracting development to every nook and cranny of the district as well as empowering constituents with life-changing packages.
Etiebet also said Akpabio shall continue to be great by virtue of his incurable obsession in touching the lives of his people and urged the people of the constituency to keep faith with him and give him 100% support to return.
DIG Udom Ekpoudom, speaking on behalf of Abak, Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency said, according to The Explorer, that Akpabio remains the best man to represent the District, and that it was only traitors and
ingrates that would not support Akpabio’s reelection after the impressive performance he has put up in his first term.
Ekpoudom also criticized some of the people now fighting Akpabio whom according to him were lifted out of poverty by Akpabio, saying such people were without conscience.
According to Ekpoudom, it was nauseating seeing the likes of Barr Emmanuel Enoidem whom he said was driving one old car until Akpabio picked him up, dusted him and he becomes a billionaire now mustering the guts to insult Akpabio, and the former Commissioner for Information and Communications in Akpabio’s regime, Mr Aniekan Umana whom he said “was suffering in Lagos” until Akpabio gave him a lifeline now teaming up with outsiders to run down his benefactor.
He prayed for God’s forgiveness to the aforementioned people, saying God hates ingratitude, and assured Sen Akpabio “that there was no cause for alarm”, saying the people would vote for him massively to continue delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
Another stake holder who spoke was Hon Saviour Udoh representing Obot Akara and Essien Udim.
Udoh according to The Explorer said, it was a thing of joy having a ranking senator in the mould of Sen Akpabio in the senate, that the Senate Presidency has been zoned to the South South and urged the people to throw their weight behind Sen Akpabio adding that it was common knowledge that Akpabio remains the favourite candidate for that post.
