On Friday, 14th December, 2018, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Peter Obi and Three other Vice Presidential candidates engaged in a Political/Aspiration debate.

2019 Election: Facts About Vice Presidential Candidates Debate

The debate, organised by the Nigeria Elections Debate Group (NEDG) and the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON), saw the pitting of the running mates of five political parties against one another by 7:00pm at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

The Five Parties and Candidates who participated include:

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, running mate to the present Government, President Muhammadu Buhari, for the All Progressive’s Congress (APC)

Peter Obi, running mate to Atiku Abubakar, for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)

Alhaji Abdulganiyu Galadima, running mate to Obiageli Ezekwesili, for the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN)

Umma Getso, running mate to Kingsley Moghalu, for the Young Progressive Party (YPP) Khadijah Abdullahi-Iya, running mate to Fela Durotoye of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN)

According to information gathered by Brainnewsradio, Chairman of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON), Mr John Momoh, streamed live the debate on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
